Takao is a song in taiwanese. During Second World War, some taiwanese aborigines attend the war as japanese solders. This song describes their leaves as confident men and believe that, after war, they' ll come back and keep follow their dreams.

e1 "Takao" is old name of Kaohsiung (高雄)「皇軍」is Imperial Japanese Army

e2 「刺面」= 「紋面」is tattoo on face. It's one of  the traditions of some aborigines.  It means becoming an adult with some capabilities such as excellent weaving clothes ability for girls.  It's like a sign of  glory, a mature and excellent adult.
